Join 3 OMS Yoga for an insightful, inspirational, and integrative yoga teacher training. Empower yourself with a solid foundation of knowledge in the systems of yoga asana, philosophy, anatomy, energy, and more. This training provides tools to facilitate deep personal growth and an exceptional understanding of the art of teaching yoga. It’s an opportunity for profound personal enrichment in a supportive community using the framework of the ancient practices of yoga. Led collaboratively by 4 senior instructors at 3 OMS Yoga, you will benefit from their varied deep and skillful teachings. Each trainee will be eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance as a 200 hour registered yoga teacher (RYT) upon completion.
This training includes:
- Yoga asana, sequencing, teaching methodology, hands on assists and more with Gentri Watson, E-RYT500, LMT
- Yoga anatomy and sequencing modifications with Elizabeth Ruff, E-RYT500, LMT, SOMA Practitioner
- Mindfulness & yoga philosophy with teaching techniques with Cat Enright, E-RYT500 and Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT)
- Chakras with personal development study, pranayama & yin yoga with Michal Retter, E-RYT500
This four-month program consists of eight intensive weekends, held every other weekend from January 11th to April 19th, 2020. 9am-5pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of the following weekends in 2020:
January 11-13, 24-26
February 7-9, 21-23
March 6-8, 20-22
April 3-5, 17-19
Investment: Early bird $2890 if paid in full by 11/1/19; $3090 if paid in full by 12/20/19
*Includes: 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved teacher training and unlimited classes at 3 OMS Yoga for duration of the training. All required books will be the responsibility of the student. Payment plans available by prior arrangement.

What if I’m new to yoga? We ask that you have a minimum experience of 6 months of consistent yoga practice before the training begins, and be 18 years of age or older.
What if I miss a weekend? We ask all trainees to commit to attending the entirety of the training to meet the 180 required contact hours in order to graduate from the program. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you’ll be required to notify us in advance and make up the missed hours at an hourly rate with the lead teacher.
Will there be homework? Yes. There will be assigned reading and journaling, required minimum class attendance of two times per week, home practice and practice teaching sessions.
How much of a time commitment will this be? Teacher training is a very big commitment. Aside from our 180 hours together over the course of training, you can expect to have a minimum of 5-8 hours of additional study and practice each week.
Will there be a final exam? Yes. A written exam and a live teaching “exam” will be given at the end of training.
What if I don’t plan to be a yoga teacher? T his training is open to those who may simply want to deepen their yoga practice. It will provide tools to facilitate deep personal growth in a supportive and encouraging environment. We understand that not all participants will immediately want to step into teaching yoga. However, we ask that you be open to the whole experience and agree to participate fully which includes many hours of training in teaching and practice teaching.
