Beginner’s series

If you’ve been meaning to try yoga, or would like to reacquaint yourself with your practice, this is the perfect opportunity! Learn from an experienced teacher from the comfort and privacy of your own home with the livestream option OR choose to join in-studio for a small, socially distanced class.

You will learn the basic alignment and form of over 40 postures, breathing techniques, yoga philosophy and concepts that will inspire and empower you on and off your mat. Demonstration, discussion, and guided practice will provide you with a solid foundation for any style of yoga. Classes will build upon each other, leading you through a progression of knowledge. We promote inclusivity, non-competition, and non-judgement in a welcoming atmosphere. One spot in each series is offered by scholarship; please see here for more information.

6 class series, IN PERSON and LIVESTREAM options!!

 Join class each week from home via zoom or in person at the studio.  (Class size will be limited to provide plenty of space, and all health and safety measures will be taken.  Masks required. )

Although we strongly encourage live attendance for this series in order for students to receive the maximum benefit, it will also be recorded. All participants (whether signed up for in-person or the livestream option) will receive a link to access for up to a week post-class in case you are absent or would like to view the class again.

I took the beginner’s course… [it was] so much fun and promoted a very welcoming and non-judgmental space for beginners and more advanced students alike. I learned a TON about the intricacies of common poses that occur regularly in classes and feel much more confident practicing after taking [this] class.
