Stable Shoulders, Easeful Neck, Calm Presence with Djuna Devereaux

Saturday Nov. 13, 2021 ~ 3:30pm - 6:00pm

Healthy alignment of the shoulder girdle is the foundation for freedom in the neck and the circulation of prana—blood, lymph, and nerve impulse—between heart and head. Often, postural habits or misaligned asana practice, along with stress and anxiety, cause imbalances and strain in the shoulders and neck. This session will offer somatic movements and skillful techniques in asanas to stabilize the shoulder girdle, expand the upper chest, and release and realign the neck. Our meditation practice will support calm abiding as an antidote to stress and anxiety.
