You may have noticed two new names on the schedule, and another (Beth) who is adding a couple of classes, so we wanted to introduce/reintroduce them! Each brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and depth to their teachings that really complement our team and will enrich your practice. We hope you can join them this summer!

Summer Cushman

Summer Cushman is a Quaker Minister, Viniyoga Teacher, and Certified Yoga Therapist. A spiritual seeker her entire life, Summer believes that authentic yoga practice has the power to change everything! She has over a thousand hours of training under Viniyoga Teachers Nikki Myers, Gary Kraftsow, and Robin Rothenberg. Her classes integrate movement, mudra, mantra, pranayama, stillness, meditation, and teachings from the wider scriptural world of yoga. It’s Summer’s goal to offer students practical tools to help them live their everyday lives with intention, meaning, and mystery. She works to create a space where people can uncover and connect with the Divine Light that always, already exists within them.

Summer’s Schedule:

Yoga Church: Sundays 9:30am-11:00am

Gentle yoga: Mondays 7:15pm-8:30pm

Autumn Baughn

Autumn Baughn is a yoga teacher, homeschooling mama, outdoor adventurer, and big advocate for finding ways to care for yourself in every season of life. Yoga had been an on and off part of her movement practice since she was a teen, but it wasn’t until after the birth of her second baby that yoga became her lifeline to connection with her body and something bigger. In her classes you can expect a little play and lightheartedness to your practice, invitations to soften to what you need in the moment, and lots of space to gain what you need from your time on the mat. Autumn is passionate about modifications, learning what serves your body and heart best, and learning to deeply listen to your inner voice. You’ll leave class with new tools to bring into your day to day life, be that in breath, movement, grounding, or being able to reach that thing under the couch without pain!

Beth Rusk

Beth is passionate about helping others feel healthy, empowered and connected in their whole being. Her classes ask that you flow with your breath, let yourself be present to what you feel and be authentic to what you need in each moment. In 2016 Beth received her RYT-200 teacher training in power yoga, and has since completed a mentorship with Amy Robinson, while working towards her 500RYT in Prajna yoga. She uses her teacher training, her anatomy knowledge as a massage therapist, and her many years of varied styles of yoga experience to guide you along your own yogic path. Beth believes yoga can help each of us connect into our physical and emotional bodies, breath fire into our hearts and help us find connection with others. Beth brings an authentic light heartedness and genuine care for others into her teaching. Show up to her class ready to breathe, connect, flow and discover.
