Anatomy for yoga

Saturday October 20,  9:00-1:00pm

This class is a beginner friendly movement and lecture class designed to introduce principles of anatomy to yogis and movement artists. Topics covered will include major muscles, bones, joints, connective tissue & fascia along with simple asana and movement to embody the lecture portion. Deepen your yoga practice through knowledge of anatomy. Later this winter, an extensive Dynamic Anatomy course will be taught, and this Intro class is a prerequisite.  **CEUs available for Yoga Teachers and Licensed Massage Therapists.

Elizabeth Ruff is a Licensed Massage Therapist in addition to being a yoga teacher, with a rich background of training. She effortlessly weaves her classes with playful light and a sense of adventure.
